The brief

The booklet traces the career of Morag Myerscough, a British designer known for monumental installations in saturated colours: her story, her style and influences, her major works and their impact on public space. It comes with a poster and the logo of an imaginary series, “The Greatest Graphic Designers”.

Intentions

  • Speaking the designer’s visual language
  • Bright blocks of colour
  • Bold, joyful typography
  • A booklet, logo and poster that echo each other

The design approach

The layout speaks her visual language: fluorescent colour blocks, bold type, geometric shapes and colourful façades. The series logo, a keyhole with an eye inside, invites you to look through to the other side of the door. The poster shows a skier in motion over flat-coloured mountains, beneath a multicoloured 3D title.
