The brief
The project imagines the label of a Marsannay, a red Burgundy, for Maison Lou Dumont. The label had to express the wine’s identity and stand out on the shelf, without losing the elegance expected of a Burgundy.

The design approach
The name Arpège (arpeggio) evokes notes played one after another. The label translates this into a balance of stacked stones, in terracotta and limestone tones that recall the soil of the vineyard. A classic typeface and plenty of white space let the composition breathe: restrained, elegant and instantly recognisable.
